FEIA Girls Basketball Defeats Montverde Academy in Historic Upset

In a stunning performance at the Hoopfest in Paradise Tournament in Nassau, Bahamas, the FEIA Girls Basketball team defeated the #1-ranked Montverde Academy—a first in program history.

The team went on to win the 2024–25 National Preparatory Association (NPA) Championship, with multiple players receiving NCAA and U SPORTS scholarship offers.

“This team showed grit, discipline, and total heart,” said Coach Handel Kipp. “It’s a proud moment for FEIA—and for Canadian prep basketball.”
