Program Overview

The FEIA Girls Hockey Program is designed for student athletes who are committed to developing their skills in a structured, high-performance environment while maintaining strong academic progress.

Training is integrated into the school day and supported by experienced coaching, a clear development pathway, and a team culture that emphasizes accountability, confidence, and long-term growth.

The Elite female hockey program competes at a high level in Ontario as a Hockey Canada Approved School Program and participates in the OWHA U22AA Elite Category and the National Girls Hockey League (NGHL), providing student-athletes with meaningful competitive opportunities and exposure.

A Day in the Life

The structured daily schedule helps student-athletes balance elite athletic development with strong academic performance.

Mike MacDonald
Director of Girls Hockey

Mike Macdonald brings over 15 years of experience as a university coach. A Hockey Canada High Performance Coach and certified Hockey Canada Skills Coach, Mike is dedicated to developing elite athletes and building strong, values-driven programs focused on long-term player growth and success.

Carly Blomberg
Head Coach

Carley Blomberg is a former USports athlete and All-Canadian forward at Brock University. Carley has experience coaching at the international, USports, and elite development levels, bringing a strong understanding of the game and a passion for supporting athletes both on and off the ice. She is a HP1 certified coach that focuses on developing skilled, confident players who are prepared to compete at the next level.

Pete Montana
Assistant Coach

Pete Montana joined FEIA at the program’s inception in 2022. Bringing more than 40 years of experience as a coach, scout, and player development leader. A Hockey Canada HP1 qualified coach, Pete has worked with elite programs including U16AAA, U18AAA, and junior hockey, as well as organizations such as the Calgary Flames and Hockey Canada. He also supports recruiting and university placement, helping student-athletes navigate pathways to the next level.
