FEIA Alumni Spotlight: Ishan Sharma Making History at Saint Louis University
Fort Erie International Academy is proud to celebrate Ishan Sharma (Alumni, Class of ’23–’24) as he continues to make history at the NCAA level with the Saint Louis Billikens.
Now in his sophomore season, Ishan is contributing to one of the most remarkable campaigns in Saint Louis University history. The Billikens are off to a 24–1 overall record and a perfect 12–0 start in Atlantic 10 play, marking the strongest start the program has ever seen. Currently ranked 18th nationally, Saint Louis has emerged as one of the most dangerous teams in the country heading toward March.
Ishan’s path to this moment speaks to perseverance and adaptability — qualities he consistently demonstrated during his time at FEIA. Originally committed to the University of Virginia, Ishan was forced to re-evaluate his journey when then head coach Tony Bennett stepped away from the program prior to the season. Rather than slowing his progress, the transition fueled his growth.
Transferring to Saint Louis University, Ishan quickly established himself as a reliable and impactful contributor on a nationally ranked roster. This season, he recorded a career-high 29 points, showcasing his shooting ability, confidence, and readiness for high-pressure moments.
Beyond the win-loss column, the Billikens have separated themselves through dominance — leading the nation in largest average win differential, a reflection of both talent and competitive maturity. They are a team no opponent wants to face when the stakes rise in March.
Ishan’s success is a powerful example of what long-term development, resilience, and belief in one’s path can produce. From FEIA to the NCAA national stage, his journey continues to inspire current students and alumni alike.
🏆 Congratulations, Ishan. Your FEIA community is proud of you — and we’ll be watching closely as this historic season continues.
